Teleparty, which we used to know as Netflix Party previously, is a browser extension. It lets you watch shows & movies with friends in real time and share your streaming experience. Accessing it will be fine due to location because you can install Teleparty and even access it worldwide. The part is that it works compatibly with several streaming platforms. And these are Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO. Moreover, by installing the Teleparty extension in their Chrome browser, users can create a virtual "party" where everyone can synchronize their video playback. This means that when one person starts playing a show or movie, it will automatically start playing for all participants simultaneously. 

That’s how synchronization plays a vital role in watching together, regardless of a distant location. In addition to synchronized playback, Tele Party provides a chat feature within the extension. Using the “Chat” feature lets the users communicate with their friends while watching a movie or show. The host then shares a generated link with their friends, who also need to have the Teleparty extension installed. When friends click the link and join the Tele Party, their video playback will synchronize with the host's, and they can chat with each other throughout the viewing session. Teleparty is a popular choice for virtual watch parties, allowing people to connect and enjoy content together, regardless of their physical distance. It's a convenient way to share the viewing experience and create shared memories with friends, even when unable to gather in person.

How to Add Teleparty Extension to Chrome Browser?  

There’s no such hardship in adding the Teleparty Extension to your Chrome browser. And to do so, all you have to do is to follow the below straightforward steps: 

1. First and foremost, open the Google Chrome browser on your PC/laptop. And then, visit the Chrome Web Store by typing & entering the provided URL in the search field. Which is “chrome.google.com/webstore.”

2. Next, you need to type “ "Teleparty" in the search bar, which you can find at the top left corner of the Chrome Web Store page. And then press the “Enter” key to proceed further.

3. Don’t forget to locate the Teleparty extension in the search results. You can easily identify the Teleparty Chrome extension by the extension's logo. Which usually appears as a red "TP" icon.

4. Further, you need to click on the Tele Party extension to open its details page. Remember to click the "Add to Chrome" button on the details page's right side.

5. Keep in mind that from there onwards, Chrome will start downloading & installing the Tele Party extension. Consequently, after the completion of installation, the Tele Party icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar, indicating that the Teleparty Chrome extension has been successfully added.

How to Use Teleparty Extension to Host a Teleparty? 

Your work doesn’t end with adding the Teleparty extension to Chrome if you want to host a Tele Party. Therefore, follow the below steps to learn how to do so via the Teleparty Chrome Extension:

1. Without wasting a moment, open the Google Chrome browser on your PC/laptop. Next, you need to choose a stream that works appropriately with your Teleparty Chrome Extension. A few of them are Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max.

2. Next, you need to sign in to your account on the chosen streaming platform from above. And don’t forget to select a TV show & movie that you want to watch with friends. After that, begin by playing the TV show or movie without waiting any longer.

3. Once the content is playing, click on the Tele Party extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. Ensure that the "TP" logo should appear red in color. Next, you will see a pop-up window with a "Start the party" button, which you have to click.

4.Consequently, you will get a link in the pop-up window, which you need to share with your friends. Hence, please copy the link provided in the pop-up window before sharing it.

5. Messaging apps or email are the best alternatives to share the copied link with your friends. After receiving the link, participants can open it in their Chrome browser.

6. Your friends will need to have the Teleparty extension installed as well. If they don't have it, they can follow the instructions in the previous response to add the extension.

7. When your friends open the link, they will join the Tele Party and synchronize with the content you are watching.

8. Your watch party will never be boring if you use a “chat” feature along with streaming videos. So your Tele Party will remain endlessly entertaining.
